Dynamic news page with newsletterAt the top of the page an intro text explains what types of news items will be published on the page this introtext is a simple node. Underneath
is a list with the 10 latest news items in reverse chronical order, a
more link on the bottom of the page leads to an overview that contains
the full news archive. The list is a block view that shows only 10 items. a more link leads to a page view with the
complete list of news items (using a pager). An RSS feed is provided that broadcasts the last 10 news items this is the feed display for the same view as the news page. An extra block with only 5 news items is provided that can be enabled on the site. Enable this block on the pages chosen by the customer.Newsletter from the news itemsBoth registered and not-registered users will be able to sign up for our newsletter. Once signed up, users can also easily opt-out again of a newsletter. The interface for this will be a registration block that is visible on the news page and the front page. Administrators can define what news items should be included in the next newsletter through an admin interface. Install and configure simplenews, with as material for newsletters the news content type.
